Hi Atharva.
I think the consensus among the core people and possible mentors is that
we would only accept a small number of students (probably 0 or 1).
I don't think we currently have a list of projects, and it will likely
depend on the interests of the applicants.
We have few people that have enough time to mentor, and all possible
mentors have a lot on their hands.
So we'll only accept students that we are certain will make high quality
contributions.
[This is my summary of a discussion among core devs. I hope it reflects
the consensus.]
Cheers,
Andy
Post by AtharvaHi,
I would like to know if Scikit Learn Team is planning to offer
projects in GSoC this year. If yes then can you tell me what project
ideas are planned to be offered as projects in GSoC 2016?
Thanks,
Atharva
