Hi everybody.
Could it be that the build bot is broken?
It seems to me that there are some problems in master but the buildbot
doesn't complain.
I already noticed that with another problem last week.
Who is running the build bot? Olivier?
Could you please have a look?

Thanks,
Andy

You mean jenkins ? For some reason it seems to be
stalled:https://jenkins.shiningpanda.com/scikit-learn/

It seems like everything is back to normal... Does anybody know why it
has stalled?

I contacted the shining pandas guys by email. We had exhausted the
montly free quota and they added $6 credit to resume the builds for
free. FYI we have 1 free build hour per day.

If we could secure some funding from sponsors we could even add a
python 2.7 on windows build on the list of build jobs (they have
windows VMs as well). Any if we had enough money we could also add
documentation build job and the future benchmarks by Vlad.

I wonder what is the status of our Software Freedom Conservancy. That
would help organizing this from a resource management perspective.

There are also ways of making the builds less costly, e.g. wait longer
between changes to do builds, do mostly in-place re-builds, etc. I'm
not sure what your current configuration looks like.

It's a full rebuild (it does a "make clean" first) + tests. I am not
sure the VM lives on between 2 consecutive builds though. So inplace
re-builds would be less costly.

The VM used is the same for every run (e.g., I built a lot of
dependencies by hand, and they're re-used on every run).

Ok good to know I might do some optims on the build setup then:

- incremental build + test at each commit
- clean + full build + test every day
